Description
Known as the holy basil in India. Easy to grow and widely found in the Indian subcontinent, tulsi is considered a holy plant in Hinduism as it is referenced as a goddess or an avatar of Lakshmi and a consort of Vishnu. Also, for thousands of years, Tulsi has been used for Ayurveda for its numerous healing properties : strengthening immunity, fighting bacterial & viral infections to combating and treating various hair and skin disorders. Consume it raw, plucked fresh from the plant, add it in your tea or make kadha out of it.
