Refunds & Exchanges
Our standard return and exchange policy lasts for 7 days from the time of purchase. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we may be unable to offer a refund or exchange except where required by law. To be eligible for a standard return, items must be unopened and in re-sellable condition. We review each request fairly and on its own circumstances. Nothing in this policy limits or removes any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or other applicable consumer protection law.
Your Cancellation Rights Under Ontario Law
If you are a consumer in Ontario, the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 gives you certain cancellation rights for purchases made online, in addition to the policies described above:
- Non-delivery: If we do not deliver your order within 30 days after the delivery date stated at checkout (or, if no date was stated, within 30 days of your purchase), you may cancel the order and request a refund, unless you agreed to accept delivery after that time.
- Missing required information: If your order confirmation did not include the information required by law for online agreements, you may cancel within the timeframes set out in the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
- How to cancel: To exercise these rights, contact us at info@singals.ca with your order number. Where a refund is owed under these rights, we will process it within the timeframe required by law.
Orders delivered via Canada Post:
If outer carton is intact but inner product/packaging is damaged, we will refund you the money equivalent to the price paid of the damaged item. Please email pictures of the intact outer carton and damaged product with your order number to info@singals.ca
If both the outer carton and inner product/packaging is damaged, we will file for an insurance claim with Post Canada. All orders are insured up to $100. You will receive the full insurance amount as decided by the court. Please email pictures of the damaged outer carton, damaged product/packaging with your order number to info@singals.ca
Please note that if there is nothing functionally wrong with the product that is within expiry date, good condition and no torn packaging, then customers are responsible for the postage for shipping back the products. Once we receive the returned products, refunds will be processed minus the shipping costs incurred. If Singals is responsible for any missing items or any other issue, please reach out to us directly.
Please note that certain household appliances and products may have different packaging or colors than original displayed in the picture. Singals does not guarantee that any product will be exactly as shown in the pictures. The pictures are only directional and the product be exactly the same in its functionality and usage. Singals does not guarantee the color, packaging type or package materials of the products which are always subject to change from the vendors.
Customer Chargebacks:
If the order is lost or returned due to in incorrect address provided by the customer, then the customer has the option to cancel the order minus the shipping charges incurred. The returned box could be re-attempted to deliver again with the correct address but the customer will be charged for the additional postage fees. There is no exception to this rule.
Order Cancellations:
We try to provide the maximum flexibility to the customers for purpose of order cancellation as we know things do happen in life. For any orders, where you have not received the 'Shipping Confirmation' email can be cancelled by calling or emailing us at the contact information provided. Please note we cannot cancel any orders once you have received the shipping confirmation email as this means the order has already been shipped out of our packaging center.
