Poha is made from flattened rice and is a popular breakfast food across central and western India. It is known to be light and fairly easy to cook which is why its also a popular choice amongst people who want something fast. Many young students enjoy this as a quick breakfast before school. We suggest adding some peanuts, potato, onion, lime and coriander while cooking to enjoy to the fullest.
Whether you like it soft or crispy, mild or spicy, dry or juicy - there is a poha recipe out there for you. Also called chiwda or chidwa.
